Clinical Studies

AIR645 is currently in phase I with a clinical trial called “A Phase 1, Single-Center, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of AIR645 “. The primary outcome measurement of the study is the safety and tolerability of AIR645; this includes documentation of adverse events and changes (compared to baseline) in vital signs, physical examination, pulmonary function tests, heart rhythm, and laboratory tests. Secondary outcome measures in the study include bioavailability testing. The study will be conducted in two stages; the first stage examining escalating single doses of AIR645; and the second stage examining escalating multiple dose regimens administered over a 22 day period. A summary the trial can be found at www.clinicaltrials.gov.
